How to Short Perpetuals: Crypto, Stocks, Commodities & Forex Trading Guide

Shorting perps means you profit from falling prices. You can short crypto (BTC, ETH, SOL), stocks (NVDA, Tesla, Google), commodities (gold, crude oil), and forex pairs (EUR-USD, JPY-USD, GBP-USD).

To short any crypto perps follow these 3 simple steps:

1. Pick perpetual market you want to short. Tap on Trade.

2. Tap short and type amount you want to short, I go with $20 from perp balance.
3. Change leverage, I pick 20x that means my short of $20 will be $400. Be careful with high leverage to avoid liquidation.

Tap short and you are shorting position with $400 worth of BTC in perpetuals.

How to check my short position on perp markets?

You can go back to markets, or also view it under perp you just shorted Positions section, there you will be able to close your perp position anytime. You can also add stop-loss or take-profit orders to manage risk. Now it is your turn – Short Crypto Perps Now.
